"Feu silencieuse" meaning silent fire in French, was one of my first photos, but it is also one of my favorites.

Helen Levitt: Color Photographs 1959-84
Boy By Car: I like this photo by Helen Levitt because it essentially captures all the elements of her photography and overall its just amazing. She uses a child who is playing by a car, but she captures the color of the car, and the "in the moment" of the kid playing and being him/her self
